GRUMPY KIT

Grumpy Kit is an interactive video sculpture (made in situ) that plays with the principle of virtual platform.

The installation is initiated around an architectural residue and functions according to a system of reward between the initiator of the content and the observer. Whenever someone stops in front of the window to amuse his curiosity, Grumpy Kit moves for a brief moment and diffuses a flow of images through its orifice. These videos unleashed randomly form a wide range of subjects such as those hosted on the traditional World Wide Web : futile, viral, shocking, smooth, fake, taboo… In doing so, it shows us a facet of our lives par excellence.
