Léo Luccioni is fascinated by the ability of modern companies to assimilate all the criticisms to adapt to each major change in society. Like entrepreneurial storytelling, where the interest in the history and aesthetics of a merchandise takes precedence over its use, the artist gives a new meaning to everyday objects. This strategy of diversion is used in the context of his installation entitled Gouverner: the old logo of a French oil company redrawn with a trembling line rubs shoulders with gas bottles, transformed into meditative percussion instruments. By positively changing the meaning of these objects, the artist tries to open the eyes of the spectators so that they realize the ambiguous relationship they have with products of the consumer society.
