LA MÉMOIRE C’EST DU SOUVENIR EN CONSERVE*

Do you recall the streets you walked down before you started to read these lines ? Do you remember the colours you noticed or indeed the shapes, signs and architectural elements ? Is the image forming in your mind clear, distinct and precise ? Or is it already a vague memory with indeterminate outlines ? Uncertainty comes with the territory when memory or perception are called upon. Certain things are seen whilst others are forgotten. In this display, four artists, four perceptions and four memories are visible.
