… suite reactivates la suite dans un instant, an artwork created in 2010 and already reactivated in 2016, like a sequel… a sequel that does not come, a moment that comes back tirelessly, a suspended moment, a parenthesis moment that never ends. A moment that struggles to find its sequel and repeats itself in various forms as many attempts to trigger the next moment. La suite dans un instant… suite is approached as a passage. The spectator acti-vates the present of this coming moment to trigger it at the precise moment to leave it behind and move on. Emergency lighting blocks have the particularity of lighting up in the event of a power cut. We usually barely notice them and they only intervene in the event of a malfunction. They represent a moment of uncertainty, an interval, in search of a return to normal. The structure that supports the emergency blocks is made of wood and was built as a temporary module, as one could do on a construction site. It does not seem to be there to work. Its working-class aesthetic contributes to defining a transi-tory moment and to designing a moment that awaits its sequel.
